The Winterhalter Partial demineralization TE 15 is for Winterhalter Dishwashers with built-in reverse osmosis system.
The TE 15 essentially consists of a chrome-nickel steel container and a regenerable ion exchange resin. The cartridge has a removable lid, and the inlet and outlet lines are connected to 3/4" Equipped with screw connections. The partial demineralization system does not require an electrical connection.
Partial demineralization works according to the ion exchange principle. The filter cartridge contains an ion exchange resin that binds the calcium and magnesium ions that cause water hardness and releases the sodium ions that do not cause water hardness to the flowing water, preventing limescale or scale from forming. The partially demineralized water is particularly suitable for washing glasses.
The capacity of the ion exchange resins is limited, which depends on the carbonate hardness of the raw water and the water consumption. The regeneration indicator of the Winterhalter The dishwasher will indicate when the exchange resin is exhausted. The cartridge will then be replaced by an authorized service technician.
