The Winterhalter Monomatics 3 is a fully automatic, volume -controlled water hardener, which prepares hard water on the principle of the ion replacement. When it comes to mechanical rinsing of dishes, softening is a basic prerequisite for a good washing result.
The water hardener essentially consists of a plastic salt container, a filter cartridge made of fiberglass and a control unit. The device is covered with a plastic lid and is provided with ¾ "screw connections.
The Monomatics 3 works on the basis of the ion exchange. In the filter cartridge there is an ion exchange resin that binds the hardening of the hard-shaped calcium and magnesium ions and releases the non-hard sodium ions to the flowing water so that no lime or boiler can deposit.
If the resin of the ion exchanger cartridge is exhausted, the control head automatically introduces the regeneration of the exhausted resin. The device can do without any electric connection. The device is controlled exclusively by measuring the prepared amount of water.
