The Blixer 8 robotic food processor was specifically designed for the needs of catering and healthcare settings. It combines the functions of a cutter and a blender in a compact countertop unit. This allows for the processing of raw and cooked foods in various consistencies – from liquid to semi-liquid to finely pureed. Thanks to its optimized operating speeds of 1,500 and 3,000 rpm, it achieves smooth, consistent results, ideal for texture-modified diets and demanding nutritional requirements.
The centerpiece is the robust 8-liter stainless steel bowl with an ergonomic soft-touch handle. The finely serrated stainless steel S-blade with a removable cap cleanly cuts even small quantities and ensures a very fine particle distribution. The included Blixer paddle (scraper arm and lid wiper) continuously returns the mixture to the working area of the blade – a crucial advantage for a homogeneous texture without the need for reworking the bowl walls.
For hygiene and ease of use, the lid is made of transparent polycarbonate. The integrated filling opening allows for the safe addition of liquids or ingredients while the appliance is running, and the surrounding seal reliably keeps even thin liquids contained. All attachments can be easily removed and cleaned in the dishwasher – ideal for high hygiene standards and quick changes in everyday kitchen use.
The durable, direct-drive induction motor delivers instant torque, operates with minimal vibration, and eliminates the need for wear-prone belts. Safety features such as a magnetic safety switch, motor brake, and overheat protection ensure safe operation. With its compact footprint, the Blixer 8 fits even in confined workspaces, making it a reliable partner for purees, emulsions, mousses, creams, pastes, or finely ground ingredients – from single portions to small batches.
