The brown Dageflex artificial casing, with a diameter of 90 mm and a length of 50 cm, was specially developed for the production of ham sausage and similar sausages. Its silky-matte surface gives the products an attractive appearance, while its excellent shrinkability ensures optimal conformability to the contents. Thanks to the excellent barrier layer, the sausage's flavor is preserved, and the excellent meat adhesion ensures a uniform texture.
The casing is impermeable to water vapor, oxygen, and aroma, as well as grease-proof, which contributes to the sausage's longer shelf life. Its good grip and easy machinability make it suitable for both artisanal and industrial use. Please note that this casing is not suitable for smoking. Before use, the casing should be rinsed in lukewarm running water without dipping. After scalding, it is recommended to run the sausage under water again and moisten it briefly before cutting to ensure quality. For longer shelf life, the vacuum-packed sausage can be cooled to 2°C and immediately sealed.
